We’re passionate about helping you grow and make an impact.
Not your typical accounting firm.
I’m Aminder Mann, a CPA and the founder of Sequoia CPA. I started this firm after working in startup finance and seeing how often small business owners were expected to figure out their finances alone. I wanted to offer something different: support that is steady, strategic, and built around the way you actually work.

My Background
I’m a CPA with end to end accounting and payroll experience in startups. I’ve worked in early stage companies where I wore multiple hats, handling everything from daily operations to month end close. Over the years, I’ve supported businesses with complex structures, helped scale small teams during periods of rapid growth, and was part of a company as it moved through an IPO.
I’m passionate about learning and growing, and I bring that same mindset into every client relationship. My goal is to help business owners not just stay organized, but truly understand their numbers and feel supported as they make decisions and move forward.
Why I Started Sequoia CPA
After years of chasing promotions and checking boxes, I realized I wanted more autonomy, more connection, and more purpose in my work. Sequoia was built from that place. My goal is to offer thoughtful financial support for service-based business owners who care about the work they do and want a partner who does too.
A bit more about me …
I’m based in Redmond, Washington and work mostly with local and West Coast-based businesses. I co-host a podcast called The Accounting Edit and when I’m not deep in spreadsheets, you can usually find me walking through the garden, cooking something new, or planning my next trip with my husband.
Co-host of The Accounting Edit, a podcast about building a more thoughtful, human approach to accounting.
