We’re passionate about helping you grow and make an impact.

Not your typical accounting firm.

I’m Aminder Mann, a CPA and the founder of Sequoia CPA. After years in technical accounting and startup finance, I saw how often small business owners were left to manage their finances without the right support. I wanted to change that.

Sequoia CPA exists to provide clear, steady financial guidance for service-based founders who want more than a bookkeeper. They want a partner they can trust.

My Background

I’m a female CPA with deep experience in accounting, payroll, and financial operations. I’ve worked in early stage Seattle startups and fast growing companies, often wearing multiple hats, handling everything from daily bookkeeping and systems setup to month end close and investor reporting.

Over time, I realized what made the biggest difference wasn’t just cleaning up numbers. It was helping business owners actually understand them. Today, I bring that same mindset to every client. Strategic, calm, and focused on your long term success.

Why I Started Sequoia CPA

I spent years chasing promotions, juggling expectations, and trying to prove myself in rooms that didn’t always value what I brought to the table. Eventually, I realized I wanted something different. More autonomy, more connection, and more purpose in my work.

Starting Sequoia CPA was my way of creating that. I wanted to build a firm where relationships come first, where founders feel supported, and where financial guidance is actually useful. Not just another report you’re left to figure out on your own.

This work is personal to me. I know how isolating it can feel when you’re building something meaningful but don’t have the right financial support. My goal is to change that for every business I work with.

Based in Redmond. Rooted in community.

I’m based in Redmond, Washington and work with clients across the West Coast. Many of the businesses I support are local service providers and Seattle startups looking for thoughtful financial structure as they grow.

I believe in keeping things personal. That means regular check ins, honest conversations, and a steady hand on your books so you can focus on what you do best.

A bit more about me

When I’m not reviewing financials, you’ll find me in the garden, on a long walk, or planning my next trip with my husband. I also co-host The Accounting Edit, a podcast focused on building a smarter, more human approach to accounting and entrepreneurship.

Whether it’s reconciling a messy chart of accounts or helping you set pricing that actually supports your goals, I’m here for it.
